A NEWS1 India report on minors allegedly beaten inside an Amroha police outpost over a purse theft suspicion has sparked major controversy. Inspector Arun Rai was found dead inside Jalaun’s Kuthound police station, initially suspected to have died by suicide. His wife has rejected that possibility and accused a woman constable of murder, prompting police to detain the accused and launch a detailed investigation into the controversial case.
